The Data Recorder for Multibus Systems with CAN, MOST and LIN, Multilog from Vector is a multibus data recorder which deals with a wider range of logging and message evaluation tasks.

Features and Advantages:

Multilog is a programmable data logger for a wide range of multibus systems involving CAN, MOST, and LIN. Messages from various buses can be received, saved, and evaluated according to the loaded configuration. Multilog's low current consumption in sleep mode makes Multilog especially well-suited for in-vehicle testing and use in test fleets.

• Support of up to eight CAN channels
• Optional: one MOST interface and several LIN interfaces
• Automatic hardware synchronization of CAN and MOST
• Analysis functions: classing, Rainflow analysis
• Gateway functionality
• Filter functions: message filters (CAN and LIN)
• Triggering on messages, signal values, error frames, and message
• Saving data to externally accessible Compact Flash and update of a new configuration with Compact Flash
• Optional Wireless LAN used to transfer logged data and update a new configuration
• Data saved in compressed format during logging
• Export of log files in various data formats to CANoe and CANalyzer or Microsoft Excel
• Offline analysis of logged data in CANoe or CANalyzer with familiar analysis functions
• Integration of CAN database from CANdb++ enables selections in setting up trigger conditions
• Optional: expansion by adding an analog card
