handyCAN

handyCAN is a portable, hand held, multi-meter device which allows easy monitoring of CAN traffic, with an integrated screen to display data and can be operated in isolation without a PC. Developed by Accutest, specifically for the requirements of field test engineers, it is simple to operate and offers a range of features for the needs of engineers.

  • 5 hours continuous use from internal battery or alternatively unlimited use through mains adaptor.
  • 16bit, Infineon C164 processor
  • Monitors bus speeds from predefined 12.5kb/s t 1000kb/s, or custom bus speeds
  • Stores up to 1,800 messages

handy CAN2 was developed specifically for Honeywell to activate and test their REA (Rotary Encoder Actuator) Unit.
