Use DaVinci Network Designer to design the network architecture and the data communication of distributed ECU systems. Thanks to its comfortable and intuitive user interface you can efficiently create and process the systems.

The networking data form the basis for the subsequent development steps like system simulation, configuration of the ECU software as well as tests of the ECU and system integration.

DaVinci Network Designer is available for the bus systems CAN, LIN, and FlexRay:

DaVinci Network Designer supports working in project teams by storing the data in a central repository. Each user may check-out and edit data like networks, single signals and whole vehicle projects exclusively. After check-in of the modified data into the repository these data is versioned and can be used by the other team members.

When using several networks even of different bus types in a single vehicle data (signals) is transferred between the networks over gateways (routing). DaVinci Network Designer automatically identifies the routed signals based on the communication relations on the networks. 'These signals are listed in the gateway-routing window.

A central signal pool ensures that signals are defined uniquely and consistently even if used in several vehicle projects and on different networks.

This tool supports you in the development and integration of the vehicle software of individual ECUs. It takes over design decisions that were made in DaVinci System Architect. DaVinci Developer is your ideal tool for the configuration of an AUTOSAR RTE and the AUTOSAR basic software.

Developing complex LIN systems requires the use of a mature design tool capable of supporting LIN-specific design. The DaVinci Network Designer LIN fulfills this need by providing all of the functionality necessary to create and maintain both the network architecture and the communication data for LIN networks.

Features and Advantages:

The DaVinci Network Designer LIN provides tailor-made functionalities needed to design LIN systems. Examples include definition of LIN hardware topologies with a Master node and multiple Slave nodes, defining LIN frames, and interactively creating the LIN schedule.

All LIN standards are supported, from 1.0 to 2.1 as well as J2602.

The highly complex nature of a FlexRay system demands a powerful and user friendly design tool. The DaVinci Network Designer FlexRay is the optimal environment for the design of FlexRay network architectures and the associated data communication.

Features and Advantages:

The DaVinci Network Designer FlexRay is specifically designed to meet the exacting needs of the FlexRay systems designer. Basic functionality such as easy parameterization of cluster and controller variables, definition of both static and dynamic frames and the capability to interactively design the FlexRay schedule forms the basis for the tool.

The data exchange with other applications is realized by the standardized FIBEX Format. The DaVinci Network Designer FlexRay supports the FIBEX versions 1.1, 1.2, 2.0.0 and 2.0.1.
